Sjava has once again made it clear that he won’t be defined by knowing good English to secure a certain societal position instead he takes pride in using his home language, IsiZulu.

Sjava is one artist who is the best inspiration to African people by using his own home language no matter where he is in the world, his music is sang in Zulu and most of his interviews he responds in Zulu. Now one twitter user who has since deleted her tweet seemed to share views on Sjava’s failure to speak English fluently, and he clapped back in the funniest way ever.

“Ngikhulele eRank futhi loko ngeke kuze kushintshe wena khuluma esakho isingisi sase havadi.” wrote Sjava. This merely translate to “I grew up at a Rank and that’s never going to change, you go ahead and speak your English from Havard.”

Tweeps couldn’t stop laughing at how he even wrote “havard”, the tweet had most people find comfort for not speaking English fluently:

🤣🤣🤣 waphinde wambhalela lo havadi nge singisi esaziwa uwe futhi onganamahloni ngaso😊
